1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions for Houss Plan A and Plan B when billing is active through Razorpay, Google Play, or the Apple App Store. It does not apply during periods when Houss is in free testing, beta, or promo-only access with no charge.
2. Free plan
The Houss Free plan costs ₹0. No payment is taken and no refunds apply.
3. Paid plans — summary
Published India pricing (GST inclusive, when live):
- Plan A: ₹399 / month · ₹3,990 / year
- Plan B: ₹699 / month · ₹6,990 / year
Founding offers and trials may apply as shown in the app or on www.houss.co.in at the time of purchase.
4. Free trial
When a 15-day Plan A trial is offered (for example when adding a second family member), you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. If you do not cancel, billing may begin automatically according to the plan you selected.
5. Monthly subscriptions
- Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled.
- No refund is provided for partial months after a billing cycle has started.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; you may retain access until the end of the current paid period, depending on platform rules.
6. Annual subscriptions
- If you cancel an annual plan mid-year, no automatic pro-rata refund is guaranteed unless required by law or app store policy.
- Exception (draft goodwill policy): Within 7 days of first annual purchase, you may request a full refund if you have not materially used paid-only features beyond basic setup. We decide case-by-case in line with payment processor rules.
7. Billing errors
If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong plan, technical error), contact us within 30 days for a full refund of the erroneous amount after verification.
8. App store purchases
If you subscribed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, refunds must often be requested through that store's refund process. We will assist where we can, but store policies and timelines apply.
9. How to request a refund
Email fo.hoss@gmail.com with:
- Subject line: "Houss refund request"
- Registered mobile number
- Date and amount of payment
- Payment reference or receipt (Razorpay / store order ID)
- Brief reason for the request
We aim to respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method where possible.
10. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue. Unfounded chargebacks may result in account suspension.
11. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy. The current version will be posted at www.houss.co.in with an updated date.
