By creating an account, logging in, or using Houss, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. About Houss
Houss is a household coordination app for Indian homes. It helps families and domestic staff coordinate daily activities such as meals, driver trips, shopping, attendance, leave, calendar events, gate intake, and related household operations. Houss is a coordination tool. It is not an employment agency, payroll statutory compliance service, security agency, or legal advisor.
3. Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years old to register as an owner, family member, or staff user
- Provide a valid Indian mobile number (+91) for login
- Use Houss only for lawful household coordination
Child accounts may only be created by a household owner who controls permissions for that child.
4. Accounts and households
4.1 Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping OTP login codes private.
4.2 Household owner (master admin)
The person who creates a household is the master admin. They may invite members, set permissions, manage settings and control subscription and billing.
4.3 Staff and family members
Staff and family join only by invitation from the household owner. Staff may belong to more than one household; data between households is kept separate.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful purpose
- Do not attempt to access another household's data
- No harassment, threats, or abuse
- No illegal, offensive, or non-consensual images
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or overloading the Service
- Do not misrepresent your identity or role
- Do not use Houss to replace legally required employment, safety, or security systems where those are mandatory
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. Staff, employers, and payroll
6.1 Employment relationship
Houss does not create an employment relationship between family members and domestic staff. Employers remain solely responsible for wages, statutory payments, PF/ESI, contracts, working hours, labour law compliance, workplace safety and insurance.
6.2 Payroll features
Payroll tools (salary, advances, deductions) are household ledger aids for convenience. They are not a guarantee of correct statutory payroll, tax filing, or legal compliance. Consult a qualified accountant or lawyer.
7. Subscriptions and payments
7.1 Plans
Houss may offer Free, Plan A, and Plan B tiers with different limits and features.
7.2 Testing phase
During internal testing or beta, we may enable plans via promo codes without charging real money.
7.3 Paid subscriptions (when live)
Paid plans may be processed through Razorpay (UPI, cards, etc.) and/or Google Play / Apple App Store billing. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges according to the plan you select. Taxes (including GST) are included in published India pricing where stated.
7.4 Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, available at www.houss.co.in.
7.5 Cancellation
You may cancel renewal according to the method provided in the app or app store. Cancellation stops future charges; it may not refund the current billing period except as stated in the Refund Policy.
8. Content and photos
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content only to provide the Service to your household and as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload such content.
9. Intellectual property

10. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Houss available and improving, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update features, limits, or pricing with notice where required, perform maintenance, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. During alpha/beta, the Service may change frequently.

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law. 12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Gyan Prakash and Sons, Navansh Goel, and our suppliers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
